Dear Anonymous The term 'Architectural Management' can be understood as a broader management theory that might be applied creatively to achieve a competitive business edge in architectural profession.
it can also be defined as ‘an ordered way of thinking which helps to realize a quality building for an acceptable cost’ or as a ‘process function with the aim of delivering greater architectural value to the client and society’.
Dear Mr. Gandhi I am also a veteran architect (since 1974) in Spain and I follow your Blog as I consider very interesting your point of view about Architectural Management, it is real that our profession is no more in the way of being considered only an artistic one and we need to push young architects to work in a new way to improve their performance in architecture and to compete in the new environment. I would like to be in direct contact with you, as I am going to give some lectures on the matter at the Madrid Superior School of Architecture and I am now compiling information. Would you send me your direct e-mail please? Mine is maalv@agarquitectura.com. Best regards from Spain
